Laser Microscope

This is relatively simple, yet interesting project to try at home. A syringe is filled with a transparent liquid of interest, and the piston is pressed carefully such that a single drop of the liquid is formed around the nozzle. Due to the surface tension the drop forms a spherical shape that act as a lens. A laser beam is pointed directly to the water drop from cca. 10-30cm distance, and the magnified image is projected to the surface behind.
